The quality of tool material performance is the basic factor affecting the quality of machined surface, cutting efficiency and tool life. During cutting, the cutting part of the tool is directly responsible for the cutting work. The cutting performance of the tool mostly depends on whether the material constituting the cutting part of the tool, the geometric parameters of the cutting part and the selection and design of the tool structure are reasonable.
